Meet the team in 90 seconds – Lesley Kibble
Introduce yourself
Hi, I’m Lesley, outside of work I love to travel with my partner Lee and visit new places. I recently returned from Krakow, Poland and I’m off to North Macedonia in June. I regularly go on ski holidays every year too, although the skiing side is still a work in progress over 10 years later, but at least I have stopped falling off the chair lift!
I like to spend my free time with friends, family and my 11 year old grandson. Really excited to be welcoming a new granddaughter anytime soon.
Describe your role at Wilson Partners
I am the Office Manager for the Cambridge office, having come from a training/event coordinator background with the Probation Service and the charity Action for Children. My current role is a full and varied one, from welcoming clients as the first point of contact to ensuring the smooth running of the office.
Ask one colleague to describe you
“Lesley always has a smile on her face and is very approachable. The linchpin of the Cambridge office that keeps us running smoothly, any issue is quickly resolved and without fuss. Lesley is a great listener and will always take the time to stop and check in with us all – when she isn’t on one of her many, many holidays!!” – Paula Carey-Shulman
Favourite drink in and out of the office
In the office – coffee
Out of the office – G&T and partial to a nice cocktail, Expresso Vodka martini, Black Russian and Pina Colada to name a few.
Favourite film
So many to choose from but ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’ is a particular favourite, never fails to make me laugh and it has become a tradition to watch it every year at Christmas in our house. One of my favourite lines ‘Well, I don’t know what to say, except it’s Christmas, we are all in misery’ – Ellen Griswald
Favourite food
Anything with coconut in it, very disappointed that they have discontinued dark chocolate Bountys.
Favourite country/holiday
This was a difficult question, but my favourite holiday has to be a 3 week trip to Las Vegas/Hawaii/San Francisco. Extra special because we got to attend our friends wedding in Hawaii.
Cats or dogs?
Do you have any hobbies?
I go to the cinema regularly, like pottering in the garden and love to go walking with friends, especially if it ends up in a pub garden with a glass of wine.
One thing that most people don’t know about you
I emigrated to the USA back in the early 90s and lived in Florida. Missed the UK so much, came back after 18 months and have never regretted it, despite the weather!
