Rounders June 2022
In order to welcome Spring, Wilson Partners held an internal rounders match last week. The split was mixed teams and consisted of two rounds. Round 1, red team won, round 2 blue team won. Blue gained most rounders so were the overall winners.
There were a couple of minor injuries sustained. Neel definitely deserved man of the match as he took a ball to the head but soldiered on…and being on the overall winning team helped his recovery. Apparently, the blue team played dirty with two yellow cards being issued for foul play to Chris and Alice. As bowler for the Red team, Roelien did her best to keep all the blue batters in line providing some comedy gold.
Exhausted from the game (or maybe too much laughing) we all headed off to the pub for a debrief and rewarding and refreshing pint!
