Meet the team in 90 seconds – Jeremy Cuthbert
Introduce yourself
Prior to joining Wilson Partners, I ran my own businesses for over 30 years. Outside of work, I love time spent with my family (wife and three teenager girls), with cooking, music, partying and holidays never far from the agenda! I also try to keep fit and love a skiing holiday as that brings all my favourite things together!
Describe your role at Wilson Partners
Prior to joining the team in September 2023, Wilson Partners were my number 1 client at my marketing agency. Having worked with Allan and Chris pretty much since day one back in 2008, when the opportunity came up to join them, build a marketing team and help navigate through a period of strong growth, it felt like a no-brainer!
My role is to build a marketing team, maintain our core brand and message and ultimately help us to win new business.
Ask one colleague to describe you
“Jeremy brings the smiles and energy to the team, but he does also have a day job leading our in-house brand and marketing, (which he does very well may I add)!! Jeremy’s experience and commercial vision for our business has been second to none. Having someone working within the business that continually challenges us, not only on brand but culture, delivery and genuinely being authentic to our core has been hugely valuable to our company success to date.
The culture of the business has been such a transformational part of our business over the years (and continues to be so today) and whilst this is up to every single person in the company to drive this, Jeremy has played a monumental role in steering us and ensuring we don’t just settle for ‘good’! (Oh and he’s pretty great on a night out too – but it may be tough to get him off of the dancefloor once the taxi has arrived, so you’ve been warned)! “ – Duncan Bye
Favourite drink in and out of the office
In – Black coffee, no sugar
Out – Beer, wine, cocktails – in any order!
Favourite film
True Romance
What cause/charity do you support?
Tough question. Closest to my heart right now is BEAT ED. However, I have a real problem with homelessness as it is just so wrong in today’s society, so I support Shelter and through work, we support Campaign Against Living Miserably, a charity dedicated to preventing suicide. And for a number of family affected by different illnesses I also support Diabetes UK, Parkinson’s UK, Alzheimer’s research, Leukemia research, Cancer research and RNLI – the list goes on!!
Favourite food
I love cooking, so this is a tough one, probably any fresh shellfish followed by a massive steak!!
Favourite country/holiday
Eleuthera, Bahamas
Cats or dogs?
Dogs (I have two – an Airedale and a Welsh Terrier)
Do you have any hobbies?
Paddle boarding, skiing, biking, cooking, learning the decks.
One thing that most people don’t know about you
I was almost cast as Damian in the Omen back in the 70’s. Fortunately my Mum read the script and wasn’t having any of it!
