About me
My goal is to help clients understand their tax positions and alleviate some of the headache and burden of their tax compliance requirements.
I’m an Associate Tax Director at Wilson Partners; starting my journey in personal tax in 2002 and joining Wilson Partners in 2012.
At Wilson Partners I oversee the Private Client Tax Compliance for the group, specifically managing the personal tax compliance team in Maidenhead and ensuring all clients’ Self-Assessment Tax Returns are filed by 31st January. I provide advice on all areas of Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax for individuals, from Capital Gains Tax on share portfolios or property to more complex residence issues. I also advise on aspects where this might crossover for businesses, so expense and benefits (including P11D & PSA compliance) and remuneration strategy/ tax planning for business owners. My goal is to help clients understand their tax positions and alleviate some of the headache and burden of their tax compliance requirements.
I also lead our Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD for IT) offering, overseeing the group’s preparation and implementation of this significant change to the personal tax system. As project lead, I work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and proactive support as we navigate these new requirements.
I was attracted to Wilson Partners by their unique culture and ambition to grow as I joined them when they were a young business. Now I love being part of a larger, like-minded team that still maintains that strong team culture and enthusiasm to help our clients.
