Empower’s acquisition of Rosewood further strengthens its position within the UK water sector. This represents the third transaction completed by the Group in just seven months, following its launch in May 2025.

Empower was founded with a clear ambition to establish a market leader in UK technical services. Its strategy centres on bringing together complementary expertise and ambitious entrepreneurial businesses to deliver integrated, end to end solutions for commercial and industrial clients.

Established in 1990 and headquartered in Blackburn, Rosewood has built a strong and trusted client base comprising UK utility companies, alongside principal civil and mechanical contractors. The company delivers a broad range of mechanical installation, maintenance and refurbishment services, supporting essential water and wastewater treatment infrastructure across the UK.

Based in London, Empower Technical Services continues to execute its buy-and-build strategy with the addition of Rosewood Engineering, a recognised specialist within the UK water industry. This strategic acquisition enhances Empower’s presence in the technical services market and broadens its capabilities and service offering.
