Working in the Personal Tax department I am involved in so much. Wilson Partners is so welcoming with a huge focus on giving back while running a successful and diverse company.
I joined Wilson Partners in April 2022 when they took over Harper Broom, my previous employer. I had been at Harper Broom since September 1997, doing my ACA and CTA qualifications there, so the thought of the move from a very small firm that I had spent all my adult working life in was very daunting. However, I have to say that the reality has been a breath of fresh air.
The practice is so welcoming to both staff and clients and there is a huge focus on well-being and on giving back to the community, as well as running a very successful and diverse business. It is an inspiring place to work and I feel that I am part of something very special.
I work in the Personal Tax department mainly preparing tax returns but I also deal with payrolls, P11Ds and anything else that I can get involved in! I enjoy variety in my work and am looking forward to further developing my skills and giving extra value to all my existing and new clients.
