About me
I joined Wilson Partners because I wanted a place where professional development is taken seriously, structured progression is clear, and where the fundamentals of tax work are respected.
I’m working as a Tax Associate in the tax team, where I support the preparation and review of tax filings, conduct tax research and compliance work, and collaborate with senior colleagues to help our clients navigate complex rules with confidence. I find it especially rewarding to work on EMI (Enterprise Management Incentives) schemes — the mix of tax mechanics and employee-motivation strategy really appeals to me, and it’s one of the areas I’ve grown to enjoy the most.
My academic background is in Philosophy, which might seem a little off-beat for tax, but it’s given me strong analytical and communication skills that I draw on every day in this role. Alongside my day-to-day, I’m also studying toward my professional tax exams, building the technical backbone of my future career. Outside of work, I stay active at the gym, train in kung fu, and enjoy team sports — those disciplines help me stay focused, energised, and ready for whatever the busy season brings.
