Client service is hugely important to me; I want our clients to feel that they are valued, and feel it is important to treat them, as we would like to be treated in the same situation.
I have been with Mark Holt & Co (now Wilson Partners) for nearly 20 years and during that time my role has changed, which has made working life exciting.
Client service is hugely important to me; I want our clients to feel that they are valued, and feel it is important to treat them, as we would like to be treated in the same situation.
Likewise in the in-house working environment, it is important that we work as a team and I am keen to ensure that it happens. Over the years I have regularly got involved in leading our fun events, training sessions, culture days and events. I am a great believer in leading by example, and I hope that future team members will take a leaf out of my book and get involved.
Sometimes it is the little things that are important. I am a keen gardener, and a few years ago, took on-board the roll of ‘firm gardener’ – planting up containers and hanging baskets outside the offices with seasonal plants. When in bloom this makes a fantastic welcome to clients and the team.
