About me
Having worked in Plymouth since 2017, I’ve built strong local insight alongside a wide range of experience.
Since the merger between Wilson Partners and Mark Holt & Co. in October 2024, it’s been great to learn from our new colleagues and blend our strengths. Keeping the small Plymouth office team while having the support of the wider team has allowed us to maintain excellent customer service while expanding and improving what we offer.
Having worked in Plymouth since 2017, I’ve built strong local insight alongside a wide range of corporate finance experience. My role is a balance between managing a small client portfolio and leading complex corporate finance projects on both the buy-side and sell-side. This includes detailed due diligence, valuations, and advising on management buyouts (MBOs) and management buy-ins (MBIs). This mix lets me provide hands-on, tailored support to clients while driving key parts of transactions that create real value.
Alongside this, being involved with The Perfect Bottle, a fine wine business based in Chelsea, has been a fantastic complement to my work. From taking the business idea from seed stage to scaling, I’ve gained experience preparing pitch decks, raising funds through SEIS and EIS schemes, negotiating leases, setting up an e-commerce platform, and driving growth. Being on the client side has given me valuable perspective, helping me better understand and advise clients on the challenges they face in corporate finance.
On a personal note, living in Plymouth allows me to stay active in the community by assessing students working toward their Duke of Edinburgh awards. I’m also committed to my continuous professional development in mountain leadership — having completed my Summer and Winter Mountain Leader qualifications, I’m now working towards my International Mountain Leader. Alongside this, I run a buy-to-let and Airbnb business here with my partner. All these activities keep my mind fresh and my enthusiasm for business and life alive.
