About me
I’m deeply passionate about working with early-stage tech and life-science businesses, finding the fast pace, innovation, and transformative potential endlessly stimulating.
For the first 20 years of my career I worked for FTSE 250 companies where I held a number of finance, sales and operational roles. In 2007 I felt it was time to launch out on my own and founded Max Accountants with the aim of using the emerging cloud applications to ensure that small and medium sized companies had accessible and timely financial information, both historical and forward looking, to assist with their growth and development.
In the early days of Max Accountants I was fortunate enough to be introduced to an early stage tech company in Cambridge. Fast forward some 15 years later and we had become a team of over 20 people focussed on supporting around 150 companies in the tech and life science sectors, helping them through their funding lifecycles, from Pre-seed through to Series B.
Early in 2025 we were delighted to become part of Wilson Partners which has strengthened our ability to provide expert support to hugely important and dynamic tech businesses that are shaping the UK economy.
