About me

I am committed and passionate in supporting start up and rapid growth businesses.

I started my accountancy career in 1994 at Hale & Company Chartered Accountants after graduating from Stirling University with a Business Studies degree. After a brief spell in industry working for a significant US logistics company, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and returned to Craufurd Hale LLP to become Partner in 2004 and later Managing Partner in 2021.

Now a Accounts and Business Services Director at Wilson Partners and Fellow of the ICAEW, I remain committed and passionate in supporting start up and rapid growth businesses, through to supporting a number of our multi-million pound turnover outsourcing clients, where full financial management services are provided. This not only involves providing timely management information, but also attending client Board meetings.

I’ve always been keen on tennis, even playing at National level at one time. I can occasionally be found on a golf course or watching Southampton Football Club and socialising with family and friends.
