Meet the Team in 90 seconds – Allan Wilson

Who are you?

I’m Allan Wilson – Co-founder of Wilson Partners back in 2008. Love pretty much anything sport related but particularly football (Liverpool F.C.), golf, cycling and skiing. Married to the lovely Jen and dad to Izzy (16) and Harry (14). Messi, our Cockapoo dog (and obviously named after the footballer!), completes the family.  Trying to live life knowing we’re not here forever and remembering two key messages – “If you’re going to be in the room, be in the room” and “Never judge someone unless you’ve walked a mile in their shoes”.

What’s your role at Wilson Partners

As Managing Director, I see my role as being responsible for creating an environment and culture in which our team have the opportunity to thrive. This will allow them to fulfil their potential and provide outstanding service/solutions to our clients. I also look after a portfolio of SME businesses and relationships which typically involves advisory work with owners on all areas of business to allow them to make great decisions.

In the office it’s gallons of tea and out of the office it’s a beer.
