Established in 2018 and based in Bristol, OnSecurity has rapidly grown to become a trusted and well-known provider of independent third-party penetration testing (“pentest”), which has an estimated global annual spend of £4bn. The company serves over 250 clients and leverages its technology to efficiently deliver pentests that identify and address vulnerabilities in computer systems, networks, and web applications.

Gresham House Ventures has invested £5.5m into OnSecurity and marks OnSecurity’s first institutional investment round, aimed at accelerating new customer acquisition and further developing its technology platform through R&D.

As part of the investment, Grace Cassy will join the board as non-executive Chair, bringing significant experience in supporting some of the world’s leading cybersecurity businesses. The deal, led by Benjamin Faulkner and assisted by Francis Ireland, continues a busy period of dealmaking for Gresham House Ventures, including recent investments in ActiveNav, Actfore, and Accredit Solutions, as well as a successful exit from Master Removers Group.
