Meet the team in 90 seconds – Jodie Green

Who are you?

My name is Jodie, I am 29 years old and a single mum of two boys that are 5 and 2. I also work full time and I am the treasurer of the PTA at my son’s school. I started working in Tax in 2012 as an apprentice, I am AAT and ATT qualified and begin studying for CTA in the summer. My life is pretty full on but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What’s your role at Wilson Partner

I am the newest member of the tax team and joined as a manager in September 2020. I support both tax directors, Steve and Alan, mainly working on tax due diligence, R&D and advisory projects.

Favourite drink in the office and out of the office

Coffee with oat milk in the mornings and peppermint tea in the afternoons. Out of the office you can’t beat a good wine or properly made gin and tonic. I am known to be quite particular (or fussy depending on who you speak to)!

Going on adventures with my boys and dog and when I get time, reading.

Two weeks in rural Spain in 2014. No other tourists, authentic food and wine, unspoilt beaches and quaint villages – it was perfect.

One thing that most people don’t know about you

In April 2019 I went through IVF to donate my eggs anonymously to a couple that had been trying for a child for over 5 years. I found out on my birthday in April 2020 that they had a healthy baby girl. I now do a lot of volunteer work to raise awareness for infertility and donor conception.
